Why I Love Working With Local Governmental Entities.

This morning, I was meeting with a local entity here in Utah, Riverton City. We were revewing aspects of their website and scoping out the  enhancements and updates we'll be making. Right during a meeting, an older gentleman walked in to see the Mayor. He had a huge grin on his face and was carrying a box full of stuff.

Yesterday, he finally was awarded his Purple Heart honor. He served in WWII and was part of the team that took back Guatanial. He came into City Hall to show the Mayor his well deserved Purple Heart. He was born "down the street" from City Hall, and lived there all his life. Except when he spent a few years, serving our country in the South Pacific.  An extraordinary moment for everyone there. I've never seen a Purple Heart in person. I was touched that this dedicated man wanted to share his wonderful news with his fine City.  I was humbled and honored to be there.

Local Government has heart. Local governmental entities are here to serve their wonderful communities. I'm honored to help serve those who serve the vast majority of Americans is such a wonderful and profound way.
