Have you ever thought about running for City Council? The City of Holladay will have the three open Council seats in the upcoming election. Candidates must file a “Declaration of Candidacy” form, in person with the City Recorder. The filing period runs from Monday, June 1 through Monday, June 8 during regular City Hall hours: 8:00am -5:00pm, Monday through Friday. There is a $35 non-refundable filing fee. You must reside in the district you are running for.

Happy Healthy Holladay Meeting
An organizational meeting for the Happy Healthy Holladay event will be held Thur. June 11 at 3:00 pm at the Holladay City Hall. For further information contact Pat Pignanelli 801-455-3535
The Happy Healthy Holladay - Saturday, June 20 from 8-10:00 am
Celebrate the 2015 Summer Solstice at the Holladay Gazebo (west of Holladay City Hall) Families and all ages are invited to participate. Activities, demonstrations and displays will include: Yoga, Fitness information and demonstrations Movement story time for children, Summer reading book talk for adults, Fall prevention information for senior citizens, Emergency preparedness 72 Hour kit information and Sun safety and insect protection information Other activities, displays and information for Happy Healthy summer activities. Fireworks Restrictions During a May 21st City Council Meeting the Council unanimously approved banning fireworks in certain areas of the city. Click here for map or for an interactive map click here. Aerial fireworks are NOT ALLOWED anywhere within the borders of the City of Holladay. If fireworks go more than eight feet off the ground they are not allowed. Fireworks are only permitted from July 1st to July 7th between 11am and 11pm (hours extended to midnight on July 4th), July 21st to July 27th between 11am and 11pm (hours extended to midnight on July 24th).
