City Meetings

The next meeting of the City Council will be on Thursday, June 16 at 7:00 pm. 

The next Planning Commission meeting will be on Tuesday, June 21 at 7:00 pm

Playground Closure - June 10-16
Support poles for the shade sails will be installed the week of Friday June 10th through Thursday June 16th, which will require the temporary CLOSURE of the playground to accommodate heavy equipment and related construction activity.


The new City Hall playground will be a bit more pleasant in the heat of the day later this summer. Five large shade sails made of durable and colorful high tech material will be installed high above the main components of the playground. These shade sails have been carefully designed to block the sun from heating up the slides and other features for the safety and comfort of the children and parents who come to use the facility

Household Hazardous Waste - June 16
Bring you household hazardous waste to the lot south of City  Hall on
Thursday, June 16 from 7-10:00 am ONLY!
Household hazardous waste is anything in and around your home that is poisonous, flammable, corrosive or toxic. These include cleaning supplies, yard chemicals, pesticides, paints, fuels, batteries, oil, and antifreeze. You may also bring your electronic waste (computers, tv’s..)

Concert in the Park

Join us on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30 for our next Concert in the Park.  Music will be provided by  Cross Strung with Celtic Dancers.
